New York High School Lacrosse - Commack drops to John Glenn
March 18, 2024: Commack, NY 11725 John Glenn Knights (Elwood, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Commack Cougars (Commack, NY), 16-12 in a non-league battle.
The Knights now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sayville for a Section 11 II battle on Wednesday, March 27. John Glenn will clash with a Golden Flashes squad coming off a 14-8 non-league win over Lindenhurst (Lindenhurst, NY). The Golden Flashes record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Massapequa Chiefs (Massapequa, NY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 22. Commack will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Chiefs come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY).
