March 18, 2024: Bee Branch, AR 72013 South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Greenbrier Bobcats (Greenbrier, TN), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornet now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Nemo Vista for a 1A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 26.
With the loss, Greenbrier falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Fairhope lost 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Central (Phenix City, AL)
