Louisiana High School Softball - Springfield bounces Pine
March 18, 2024: Springfield, LA 70462 Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pine Raiders (Franklinton, LA), 11-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Independence for a 2A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 19.
With the loss, Pine falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host Sumner (Kentwood, LA) to face the Cowboys in a 3A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 9-5.
