Louisiana High School Softball - Westgate loses to Port Barre
March 18, 2024: Port Barre, LA 70577 The Port Barre Red Devils softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Westgate Tigers to 0 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Port Barre improves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Northwest (Opelousas, LA) to clash with the Raiders in a 3A District 4 game on Tuesday, March 19. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 0-4. Northwest lost 17-1 in their recent non-league game against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a 4A District 4 game, on Thursday, March 21. Westgate will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
