March 18, 2025: Armorel, AR 72310 The Armorel Tigers (Armorel, AR) baseball trounced the visiting Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR), 15-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Marked Tree for a 1A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, March 20. Armorel will clash with a Indians team coming off a 15-14 non-league loss to Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Indians record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Buffalo Island Central drops to 3-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Bay (Bay, AR) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Bay lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Riverside (Lake City, AR)
