The Loyd Star Hornets baseball squad (Brookhaven, MS), was overwhelmed 14-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS)

With the triumph, Mize moves its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Seminary (Seminary, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, March 24. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 10-4.

The Hornets now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Andrew's Episcopal for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 20. Loyd Star will confront a Saints squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS). The Saints record now stands at 9-5.
