March 18, 2025: Stuttgart, AR 72160 The Stuttgart Ricebirds (Stuttgart, AR) baseball trounced the visiting Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR), 9-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Ricebirds now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dumas for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. Stuttgart will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 18-2 league win over Central (West Helena, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Mayflower drops to 0-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR) to clash with the Cardinals in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Harmony Grove lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR)
