March 18, 2025: Marbury, AL 36022 Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Tallassee Tigers (Tallassee, AL), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Marbury advances its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-1. Tuscaloosa Academy won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)
The Tigers now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery Catholic for a 4A Area 3 test on Wednesday, March 19. Tallassee will clash with a Knights team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Smiths Station (Smiths, AL). The Knights record now stands at 10-2.
