The Southwest DeKalb Panthers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Mays Raiders to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now hold a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Newton for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Southwest DeKalb will play a Rams team coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The Rams record now stands at 5-7.

With the defeat, Mays drops to 3-6 on the year. The Raiders travel to Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 3-0. Mount Vernon won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Wheeler (Marietta, GA)
