The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) and the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), observed North Brunswick's softball team get by Topsail by a tally of 7-5.

The Scorpions (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Gators go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, East Columbus tipped West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 12-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 21. Topsail will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC).
