March 18, 2025: Asheville, NC 28803 The Watauga Pioneers lacrosse team (Boone, NC), was overwhelmed 16-3 in Tuesday's league battle with the host T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC)
With the victory, T.C. Roberson advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Rams host Hickory (Hickory, NC) to encounter the Red Tornadoes in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Red Tornadoes come into the battle with a record of 5-2. Hickory won 20-0 in their recent non-league battle against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)
The Pioneers now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Forsyth for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. Watauga will encounter a Titans team coming off a 14-5 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Titans record now stands at 4-0.
