March 18, 2025: Pell City, AL 35125 The Pell City Panthers soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Hueytown Golden Gophers to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Oxford for a 6A Area 11 bout on Wednesday, March 19. Pell City will play a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-7.
Next up, the Golden Gophers confront the Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 20. Hueytown will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Tarrant (Birmingham, AL).
