Virginia High School Soccer - Salem knocks off Indian River
March 18, 2025: Virginia Beach, VA 23464 The Salem Sundevils soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Indian River Braves to 2 in the Sundevils non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Sundevils now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Tallwood for a Beach bout on Friday, March 21. Salem will play a Lions squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Indian River moves to 0-1 on the year. The Braves travel to Phoebus (Hampton, VA) to confront the Phantoms in a non-league outing on Thursday, March 20. The Phantoms go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Phoebus won 2-1 in their recent league outing against Denbigh (Newport News, VA)
