North Carolina High School Softball - Bear Grass Charter bounces Columbia
March 18, 2025: Williamston, NC 27892 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) and the visiting Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC), observed Bear Grass Charter's softball team prevail over Columbia by a tally of 16-0.
The Bears (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Saints go into the non-league bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, John Paul II Catholic was routed by Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC), 4-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 19. Columbia will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 4-0 league loss to Manteo (Manteo, NC).
