Arkansas High School Softball - Cedar Ridge sneaks past Mountain View
March 18, 2025: Mountain View, AR 72560 The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) softball nipped the host Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR), 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Timberwolves now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Izard County for a 2A Region 2 outing on Thursday, March 20. Cedar Ridge will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Cotter (Cotter, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Mountain View moves to 2-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Flippin (Flippin, AR) to encounter the Bobcats in a 3A Region 2 outing on Thursday, March 20. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 6-2. Flippin won 10-2 in their recent non-league outing against Berryville (Berryville, AR)
