The Pope John Paul II Jaguars triumphed over the host Northlake Christian Wolverines softball squad by a count of 12-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a 2A District 7 challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Pope John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record.

The Wolverines (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against French Settlement (French Settlement, LA). The Lions enter the 2A District 7 challenge with a 3-8 record.
