Illinois High School Baseball - Plainfield East loses to Geneseo
March 19, 2022: Plainfield, IL 60585 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs baseball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Plainfield East Bengals.
The Maple Leafs (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Yorkville Christian tipped Sherrard (Sherrard, IL), 9-0, in a non-league game.
The Bengals (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Harlem was overwhelmed by Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 11-0, in a non-league battle.
