California High School Volleyball - McClatchy tips Hilmar
March 19, 2022: Sacramento, CA 95818 McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) in a Metropolitan Conference match, on Tuesday, March 22. McClatchy will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league win over River City (West Sacramento, CA).
With the loss, Hilmar drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to clash with the Mavericks in a non-league match on Saturday, March 19. The Mavericks come into the match with a record of 3-2. Mesa Verde won 3-0 in their recent league match against Pioneer (Woodland, CA)
