March 19, 2024: Mason City, IL 62664 The St. Teresa Bulldogs baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Illini Central Cougars to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Heyworth was overwhelmed by Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL), 9-5, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Illini Central falls to 0-3 on the season. The Cougars host Havana (Havana, IL) to encounter the Ducks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Ducks come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Havana lost 9-3 in their recent non-league challenge against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL)
