Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Palisades upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Pumas host South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Sabres in a So Meck 4A test on Thursday, March 21. The Sabres come into the test with a record of 9-1. South Mecklenburg won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Weddington (Matthews, NC)

With the defeat, South Mecklenburg falls to 8-1 on the season. The Sabres travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 20.
