Georgia High School Baseball - Schley County gets by Taylor County
March 19, 2024: Butler, GA 31006 Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA) and the host Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA), saw Schley County's baseball squad knock off Taylor County by a count of 4-1.
Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 20. Schley County will attempt to move on its 11-1 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 10-7 record after their 7-0 league win over Dougherty (Albany, GA).
The Vikings now possess a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spalding for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 21. Taylor County will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Rock Springs Christian Academy (Milner, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-10.
