Illinois High School Soccer - Macomb knocks off Olympia
March 19, 2024: Macomb, IL 61455 Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bombers confront the Orion/Sherrard United (Orion, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 23. Macomb will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The United enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL).
The Spartans now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monticello for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Olympia will confront a Sages team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Unity Christian (Decatur, IL). The Sages record now stands at 4-0.
