In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Big Spring Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Carlisle Thundering Herd.

The Bulldogs now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Biglerville for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 21.

Next, the Thundering Herd confront the Chambersburg Trojans (Chambersburg, PA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 22. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 20-3 non-league win over Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA).
