Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Maroon Tide face the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 2. Galax will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
