March 19, 2024: Columbia, SC 29223 Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC), 4-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Demons confront the A.C. Flora Falcons (Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 challenge, on Thursday, March 21. Lugoff-Elgin will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Irmo (Columbia, SC).
The Cavaliers now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Ridge View for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Thursday, March 21. Richland Northeast will confront a Blazers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Westwood (Blythewood, SC). The Blazers record now stands at 4-5.
