Kentucky High School Softball - Bourbon County can't get by Campbell County
March 19, 2024: Alexandria, KY 41001 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) softball team held off the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Campbell County moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Camels host Mason County (Maysville, KY) to play the Royals in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 20. The Royals come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Mason County lost 9-2 in their recent league contest against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY)
In their next game, the Colonels play the Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY) in a District 40 contest, on Wednesday, March 20. Bourbon County will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 24-6 league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY).
