Missouri High School Softball - Strafford gets by East Newton
March 19, 2024: Strafford, MO 65757 The Strafford Indians got by the visiting East Newton Patriots softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant Hope (Pleasant Hope, MO). The Pirates go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Pleasant Hope edged Hollister (Hollister, MO), 15-0, in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 22. East Newton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 8-0 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO).
