Kentucky High School Softball - Grant County bounces Henry County
March 19, 2024: New Castle, KY 40050 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) and the host Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY), witnessed Grant County's softball squad tip Henry County by a count of 4-0.
The Braves now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Boone County for a non-league match on Thursday, March 21. Grant County will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Scott (Covington, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Henry County moves to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY) to meet the Eagles/Banshees in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 20. The Eagles/Banshees go into the match with a record of 3-0. Bethlehem won 2-1 in their recent league match against Nelson County (Bardstown, KY)
