Kentucky High School Softball - Owensboro bounces Grayson County
March 19, 2024: Leitchfield, KY 42754 Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY), 21-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Owensboro Catholic for a District 9 challenge on Thursday, March 21. Owensboro will face a Aces squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Aces record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Grayson County falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY) to face the Purples in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Purples enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Bowling Green lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY)
