Alabama High School Softball - Loachapoka holds off Notasulga
March 19, 2024: Loachapoka, AL 36865 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Loachapoka Indians (Loachapoka, AL) and the visiting Notasulga Blue Devils (Notasulga, AL), witnessed Loachapoka's softball squad tip Notasulga by a count of 17-15.
The Indians now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to LaFayette for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 20. Loachapoka will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Centennial (Franklin, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Notasulga moves to 1-6 on the season. The Blue devils host Wadley (Wadley, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A Area 7 match on Wednesday, March 20. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 3-2. Wadley won 14-4 in their recent non-league match against Winterboro (Alpine, AL)
