March 19, 2024: Sutherlin, OR 97479 The Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) softball routed the visiting Oakland Oakers (Oakland, OR), 14-9 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Winston, OR). The Trojans enter the 3A-SD3 Special District 3 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Douglas got by Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR), 14-7, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Oakland falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Oakers travel to Illinois Valley (Cave Junction, OR) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Illinois Valley won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Chiloquin (Chiloquin, OR)
