Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 7-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Fairmont moves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Golden Tornadoes travel to Lake View (Lake View, SC) to battle the Wild Gators in a non-league match on Friday, March 21. The Wild Gators come into the match with a record of 5-2. Lake View won 12-0 in their recent league match against Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC)

The Jaguars now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to E.E. Smith for a All American 3A/4A match on Thursday, March 20. Overhills will battle a Golden Bulls squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Triton (Erwin, NC). The Golden Bulls record now stands at 0-5.
