The McLane Highlanders baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 2 in the Highlanders league win on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Madera South for a North Yosemite test on Friday, March 21. McLane will play a Stallions team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Stallions record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Roosevelt drops to 8-2 on the year. The Rough riders host Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-6. Firebaugh lost 15-1 in their recent non-league test against Liberty (Madera, CA)
