In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Trinity Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the West Davidson Dragons.

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Southwestern Randolph nudged East Davidson (Thomasville, NC), 6-5, in a non-league game.
