In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), by a tally of 15-0.

Next up, the Greyhounds encounter the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 21. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.

The Scotties (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Leechburg (Leechburg, PA). The Blue Devils enter the WPIAL 1A 2 bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Leechburg was overwhelmed by Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
