Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 7-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Grossmont advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Foothillers travel to San Pasqual (Escondido, CA) to battle the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, March 22. The Golden Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-0. San Pasqual won 6-0 in their recent non-league match against Classical Academy (Escondido, CA)

The Highlanders now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santana for a match on Friday, March 21. Helix will battle a Sultans squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Sultans record now stands at 1-3.
