In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Upper St. Clair Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-12 win over the South Fayette Lions.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors enter the WPIAL 3A 1 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Penn-Trafford by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 11-8, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 21. South Fayette will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Big Macs enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 9-6 non-league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
