The Poway Titans baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting La Jolla Country Day Torreys to 1 in the Titans non-league win on Wednesday.

The Titans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Carmel for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Poway will clash with a Sundevils team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Sundevils record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, La Jolla Country Day drops to 4-1 on the year. The Torreys host Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Nighthawks in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Nighthawks go into the test with a record of 3-0.
