March 19, 2025: Olympia, WA 98502 The Capital Cougars softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Bellarmine Prep Lions to 7 in the Cougars non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silas for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. Capital will confront a Rams team coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Bellarmine Prep moves to 0-2 on the season. The Lions host Curtis (University Place, WA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league battle on Friday, March 21. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 0-2. Curtis lost 19-8 in their recent non-league battle against Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA)
