The Monroe Vikings softball squad (North Hills, CA), was routed 18-7 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA)

With the triumph, Hoover improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tornados travel to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 9. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 0-2.

The Vikings now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fulton for a non-league contest on Friday, March 21.
