California High School Lacrosse - La Costa Canyon drops to Cherry Creek
March 19, 2025: Carlsbad, CA 92009 In Wednesday's non-league test, the Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA), by a count of 12-5.
Next up, the Bruins battle the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 21. Cherry Creek will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Falcons enter the test with a 3-1 record after their 18-5 non-league win over Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA).
The Mavericks (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Gonzaga got by Ponte Vedra (Ponte Vedra, FL), 13-6, in a non-league test.
