Illinois High School Lacrosse - Deerfield can't hold off Lake Zurich
March 19, 2025: Deerfield, IL 60015 Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse squad hold off the host Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL), 9-8 in a non-league test.
The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Lakes was nipped by Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 12-9, in a non-league test.
Next, the Warriors battle the Lindbergh Flyers (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 28. Deerfield will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Flyers enter the test with a 0-2 record after their 7-3 league loss to Chaminade (St. Louis, MO).
