Georgia High School Lacrosse - Wheeler overwhelms Kennesaw Mountain
March 19, 2025: Kennesaw, GA 30152 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) and the host Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA), witnessed Wheeler's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Kennesaw Mountain by a score of 11-7.
The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Darlington (Rome, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Darlington nipped Dalton (Dalton, GA), 5-2, in a league contest.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) in a 2A Area 3 contest, on Friday, March 21. Kennesaw Mountain will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Greyhounds enter the contest with a 4-8 record after their 19-6 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, GA).
