The Cornell Raiders triumphed over the host New Brighton Lions softball squad by a count of 24-17 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Raiders meet the Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 24. Cornell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA). The Flames enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Northgate edged Rochester (Rochester, PA), 15-3, in a non-league challenge.
