North Carolina High School Softball - Southwest Guilford bounces Cornerstone Charter

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals.

The Cowboys (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers come into the Metro 4A match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Ragsdale notched a victory over Dudley (Greensboro, NC), 15-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 20. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Storm come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 11-1 league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC).
