Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA), 12-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Tri-Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Minersville (Minersville, PA) to play the Battlin' Miners in a Schuylkill II game on Tuesday, March 25. The Battlin' Miners enter the game with a record of 0-2. Minersville lost 12-4 in their recent non-league game against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA)

The Tigers now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Jersey Shore for a non-league game on Monday, March 24.
