The La Junta Tigers baseball squad (La Junta, CO), was overwhelmed 11-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ)

With the triumph, O'Connor moves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Eagles host South Albany (Albany, OR) to confront the Redhawks in a non-league game on Friday, March 20. The Redhawks enter the game with a record of 0-1. South Albany lost 14-4 in their recent non-league game against Roosevelt (Portland, OR)

Next, the Tigers face the Fort Morgan Mustangs (Fort Morgan, CO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 26. La Junta will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Greeley Central (Greeley, CO).
