The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) and the visiting Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), saw Caledonia's softball squad beat Columbus by a score of 15-0.

With the triumph, Caledonia improves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Eupora (Eupora, MS) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, March 20. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 16-1. Eupora won 8-3 in their recent non-league contest against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS)

The Falcons now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host New Hope for a 5A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, March 24.
