Louisiana High School Softball - Fontainebleau bounces Thomas Jefferson
March 20, 2021: Mandeville, LA 70471 Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they host Covington for a 5A District 6 challenge on Monday, March 22. Fontainebleau will face a Lions squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Lions record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Thomas Jefferson falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The travel to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA) to face the Swamp Owls in a 3A District 10 challenge on Tuesday, March 23. The Swamp Owls enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy won 12-7 in their recent league challenge against Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA)
