March 20, 2023: Boaz, AL 35957 Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Boaz Pirates (Boaz, AL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers face the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) in a 6A Area 6 challenge, on Thursday, March 23. Pelham will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 1-1 non-league Montevallo (Montevallo, AL).
The Pirates now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Etowah for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22.
